Victoria Ford provides therapy for adult individuals and couples. She is a co-founder of Water Street Family Counseling, and has practiced for 20 years. Victoria’s gentle, warm spirit invites clients to feel at ease. She is passionate about supporting individuals in all of their important relationships; including with themselves. She has successfully worked with hundreds of individual clients to overcome self criticism, depression, nagging worry and discontent, and past negative or traumatic experiences.
Victoria is an EMDR Certified Therapist. EMDR is a powerful and effective therapy that activates and supports our natural healing process. It is used to recover from previous traumatic experiences, or chronic childhood experiences that might be affecting one's current life and relationships. She also is engaged in a three year program for Somatic Experiencing; another approach to therapy that addresses stored trauma and stress in the nervous system and body, Clients learn and experience practices to diminish accumulated stress in the nervous system and body, and expand resiliency.

Rate: $150.00 Initial Session (1.25-1.5 hour)
$120.00 per hour session following

Frequency of sessions:
Usually one time per week for the the initial stage of therapy for best results, then less frequently over time. I will offer my professional opinion about this after an assessment, and in collaboration with you. I provide care in the most useful and effective way possible, and respect your financial, emotional and time commitment.
I have the good fortune of seeing many people find joy in their lives and relationships, after resolving whatever road blocks may be getting in the way. Therapy helps! It takes courage to come in; I will show you the respect you deserve and listen to your story and situation.
